A short creative conversation on a new topic each week! The poem shared during the video talk is posted below...
Today we talk about facing fear, acknowledging what is ready to be shed and powerful ways to explore your story…
This weeks Tuesday Talk got bumped by connectivity issues, so Tuesday is Wednesday this week. Since I'm traveling I decided to put a pin it...gave up, gave in, opened space and let go of any pressure. This is after all intended to be a source of depth and pleasure.
I came back today to see if fresh energy might move me through the impasse. So here I am with the hand held camera, no fixed point to gaze into your eyes, contending with the unexpected light and a slightly strange space yet feeling all the potency of a powerful poem, a current, relevant topic, that morphs into a creative conversation with you!

Poem:
It is said that before entering the sea
a river trembles with fear.
She looks back at the path she has traveled,
from the peaks of the mountains,
the long winding road crossing forests and villages.
And in front of her, she sees an ocean so vast,
that to enter there seems nothing more than to disappear forever.
But there is no other way.
The river can not go back.
Nobody can go back.
To go back is impossible in existence.
The river needs to take the risk
of entering the ocean
because only then will fear disappear,
because that’s where the river will know
it’s not about disappearing into the ocean,
but of becoming the ocean.
- Khalil Gibran
A Mythopoetic Life is connected to my work at JourneyPath Institute. I am excited that this space offers a unique energy and new ways to meet our musings, ideas and experiences.
Brilliant insightful words of wisdom. Resonating with the power of the eclipse and what is being eclipsed in my life now. This talk helps me to more deeply work with the energies percolating. Thank you.
